Warehouse Management System (WMS) Functionality

The Warehouse Management System (WMS) monitors and guides the complete process: including user friendly terminal displays and simple system set-up. The WMS is a scalable SW package that is easy to configure and integrates into different system environments, from acting as the main WMS to providing be-spoke WMS solutions for specific material handling tasks. Elettric 80 WMS solutions are flexible and based on state-of-the-art database technology, primarily in SQL format. The WMS functionality can be connected to a wireless tablet PC to simplify the operation of the production unit.

The Elettric 80 WMS (Warehouse Management System) solution optimizes the use of different machine groups (palletisers, wrappers, labelling, data tracking and transports (LGVs) in relation to the logistic process and production management. With a modular design, Elettric 80 WMS solutions are easy and fast to implement, and can be tailored to meet the needs of the customer and the existing computer system. In its simplest form, the WMS can datatrack products during the production process and act as an interpreter and message buffer between the existing ERP and Warehouse Management Systems, WMS, while also having the capability to be responsible for all WMS functionality.
